Tanasha Donna is killing two beefs with one stone by thanking her ex-boyfriend and her biggest musical collaborator Diamond Platnumz for making her both rich and famous.
Tanasha showed her appreciation to the father of her child on Instagram.
The appreciation is for their song Gere which was ranked as one of the most viewed songs by YouTube. The singer thanked her ex for believing in her and doing the collabo with her.
She posted:
“Huge thanks! Gere by myself & Baba @naseeb.junior made it to Most viewed African songs on Youtube 2020. Grateful to @diamondplatnumz for believing in me & collaborating with me on such a big tune & to the supporters who’ve supported me & continue to believe in me so far. Cheers to a greater 2021 Inshallah. The dream continues…. 🧚🏽♀️❤️”
Diamond replied to the post saying;
“NJ’s MoMy!!! 🔥⛽🚬”
He later on deleted the response after fans begun speculating on what the meaning of the response was. For others it was just a simple praise but other fans thought of it as a way of the two missing each other.
At the beginning of last year, the two made headlines when they announced they had broken up. Tanasha said the main issue was that Diamond lost interest in the relationship.
“For the past six months, we were still trying to see how we could make things work and then it got to a point where you feel like the other person has just lost interest and it’s not because of anything emotional i would say is not living up to certain expectations he had in the relationship. It’s nobody’s fault.”
The two have since patched things up but only as parents and friends. They have a co-parenting system that works for them and maintain respect towards one another.
After breaking-up, Tanasha came back to Kenya with their son. Their song put her in the limelight and she has been un-stoppable since then.
