Lydia Jazmine realized her talent and passion for music when she was young. She started singing while in high school after joining the school choir. She later joined the church choir at the Passover Harvest Centre and at Watoto Church.

After completing her high school education, Lydia Jazmine joined a band called Gertnum where she provided background vocals.

In 2013, musical duo Radio and Weasel signed her to become their back-up singer. She also provided backup vocals for Bebe Cool and Sheebah Karungi.

Zari Hassan
