When a relationship comes to an end and there was a child or children involved, the situation turns tricky as co-parenting is really difficult, especially when the termination of the relationship occurred in ugly ways. That is why we celebrate those that have been through it all yet still managed to co-parent well, especially for celebrities.
Here are some of the few we know.
Diamond Platnumz, Zari Hassan and Tanasha Donna
This scandalous union and break-up kept fans from all over, obsessed with the lives of these two entertainers. Diamond hooked up with Tanasha while still married to Zari Hassan and this blew up in his face. Tanasha got pregnant, then it REALLY blew up in his face.
After battles within the love triangle, it seems they all came to an understanding and we know this because he came out of it unscathed. Diamond Platnumz is now happily co-parenting his children with both Zari Hassan and Tanasha Donna, separately though. What a situation we have here.
Juliani and Brenda Wairimu
It was not clear why popular actress Brenda Wairimu and celebrated rapper Juliani decided to part ways, but there is still one thing that will forever keep them connected. That is their beautiful daughter, Amor Owino.
Though broken up, Juliani is always speaking highly of his ex-girlfriend Brenda, saying that she gave him the most precious gift he could have ever hoped for, and that is Amor Owino, their daughter.
Nick Mutuma and Bridget Shighadi
These two thespians’ romantic relationship lasted for a very long time up until cases arose of Nick Mutuma being abusive and unfaithful.
The two welcomed their lovely daughter Dua Mutuma back in 2018 and have since then been doing a great job in co-parenting their little girl and keeping her from the public eye.
Akothee and Wuon Oyoo
Mombasa-based singer Akothee is one of the most famous co-parents in Kenya and she loves making this known. She has five children from two different fathers and holds a very healthy and cooperative relationship with both of them, while at the same time dating her boyfriend who also doubles up as her manager, Nelly Oaks.
Akothee has been the source of strength for many single mothers who look up to her as an inspiration.
When it comes to parenting many admire her style, they think she has been able to balance both her work and personal life perfectly.
She has over the years fashioned herself as a voice to rebuke societal injustices and is surely cementing her position as a role model for many.

Robert Burale and Rozinah
This former pastor turned motivational speaker has been through a lot and most of his terrible past experiences and behaviors cost him his marriage to his ex-wife, Rozinah.
Robert Burale and his ex-wife Rozinah had a daughter and for some time, their relationship wasn’t rosy at all.
Through the years, they have come to an understanding and natured a healthy relationship and are now peacefully co-parenting their daughter who is now in secondary school.
Jalang’o and Cheptoek
Jalang’o is a happily married man to wife, Amina Chao. However, he had sired two children with his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Cheptoek. As he handles his family’s affairs well, he has also managed to happily co-parent his two children with his baby mama from a distance.
These are just a few of the celebrities we know that co-parent with their exes very well, giving their children a chance to a happy household. Kudos to them all.
This might not be known by many Kenyans because the radio presenter has for the most part been able to keep his personal life private.
