In 2019, Jose Chameleone took to social media to announce that he had purchased a new house in the USA.
The house where his wife and children have been living since 2019 after they relocated from Uganda is a beautiful two-storied fully-furnished house with three bedrooms that reportedly cost the musician about US $200,000 which is roughly equivalent to about Ush 780 million.
Taking to social media,the talented musician recommended the services of his real estate agent to anyone who was looking for property in the region.
But that’s not the only property that the Dorotia hitmaker owns overseas. In 2020, it was reported that he had bought a second house in the USA.
He said, “I saw someone comparing me to Diamond just because he had bought a brand new Rolls Royce but I want you to know that I have so far bought two houses in the USA. If my brother wanted to buy a Rolls-Royce, let him do so, it’s not a bad thing. Everyone has their own ambitions. Go and research about the prices of houses in USA, they range from USD400k but the Rolls-Royce is worth USD350k. If it’s what I wanted, I would have bought it.”
Although his family now live in the USA, Jose Chameleone remains in Uganda where his music is widely celebrated and most of his businesses are based. However, the prominent musician often visits his family from time to time and shares beautiful family photos on social media.

Before his wife and children relocated to the USA, Jose Chameleone and his family resided in their famed Sseguku mansion.
The house which has been branded as being haunted by some has been on the market for quite some time. In 2012, a suspected robber identified as Robert Karamagi was mysteriously burned in Jose Chameleone’s house and died on the way to the hospital. This incident has been one of the main reasons why it has been difficult to sell the house.
