Wakadinali are among the most successful rap group in Kenya. Their success is attributed to their consistence in music releases and a raw talent exhibited for the last five years. The group comprises three main artists: Scar Mkadinali, Sewer Sydaa, and Domani Munga.
Rong Rende, on the other hand, consists of all the stakeholders associated with the trio. It includes the producers, rappers, directors, visual artists, etc.
Slim Visuals is responsible for most of the videos by the group while Alex Vice has produced most of the songs. Dyna Cods is also a female rapper affiliated to the group.
Scar and Domain hail from Umoja Estate in Nairobi’s Eastlands area, a region known to produce great musicians in Kenya. Both rappers formed the group while in high school, with some members quiting to venture into other things. The group gained a massive following by participatin gin different hip-hop events, where they produced hits such as Battery Low and Toka Mapema, songs that have influenced their success today.
