Paying for your DSTV Kenya packages is easier now than before. Irrespective of your location in the world, you can use different methods to pay for your DStv package: Mpesa method, Banks and Bank Apps, and Offices.
MAKING PAYMENTS VIA MPESA
Go to the Safaricom menu and select ‘M-PESA’
- Enter the DStv Business number i.e. Paybill number: DStv: 444900
- Enter the DStv Basket ID (reference number) as displayed on Eazy Self Service
- Enter the amount you want to pay
- Confirm the details entered, Click ‘Ok’
- The following message will be displayed: Sending >>> Sent Wait for Mpesa to Reply, then Click ‘Ok”
- You will then receive a confirmation SMS of your payment.
HOW TO PAY THROUGH EQUITY BANK
Please ensure that your decoder is on before making payment.
You can now pay your DStv bill by simply following the steps below, using your Equitel line;
1.On the Equitel menu select My Money
2.Select Eazzy Pay > Select Paybill
3.Select the Account to pay from
4.Select Business> Select More> Select DStv
5.Enter your Bill Account Number
6.Enter Amount
7.Press OK to confirm details of the transaction displayed on the screen
8.Enter your PIN and send
9.You will receive a confirmation SMS, upon completion of the transaction
How to pay using the Equity Bank’s Eazzy App:
1. Press the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen
2. Select Eazzy Pay from the pop up menu displayed
3. Select Paybill
4. Enter Paybill number 6800009 or search contact by typing DStv or on the search bar
5. Enter your DStv bill number
6. Enter Amount
7. Click on the Pay option
You will receive a confirmation SMS, upon completion of the transaction.
Paying through KCB Bank
When paying via KCB App:
1. Select “Transact Icon > Pay Bill > Other Billers”
2. Select “DSTV”
3. Enter Customer number in Account No.
4. Enter Amount to pay and submit
Making payments through CBA Bank
Here is how you will use the CBA mobile app to make Dstv payments:
- 1. Log in using phone number and PIN.
- 2. On the menu, select “transact”
- 3. Select “Pay Bills”
- 4. Select account to debit
- 5. Select DSTV or GOTV
- 6. Enter utility account number & amount
- 7. Enter the one-time-password sent to your phone to authorize
Paying through BARCLAYS BANK
To pay for your DStv subscription log onto your mobile banking application and follow these easy steps:
Open the Barclays Kenya app:
1. Tap ‘Login’
2. Log in using your internet banking username, password and secret questions
3. Go to ‘Transfers’ using the navigation at the bottom of the screen
4. Select ‘Pay Bill’
4. If you have already saved the biller, you can choose ‘Existing Payee’ and simply enter the amount to pay and account to debit. If not, choose ‘New Payee’.
5. Use the drop-down menu to select biller type
6. After selecting biller type, you can select biller and enter in your account/reference number
7. Choose which account you would like to pay from.
8. Enter in the amount to pay and submit
9. You will be asked to confirm the amount. You may need to enter in the one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your phone
10. Payment made! The transaction should reflect on your balance under ‘Accounts’.
Paying for DSTV through Mobile Banking Applications.
To pay for your DStv subscription log onto your mobile banking application and follow these easy steps:
1. “Log onto Mobile banking”
2. Select ‘Pay Utilities’
3. Select ‘DStv’
4. Select the product identifier e.g. Smartcard number or Customer number
5. Enter the number of the selected the product identifier e.g. Smartcard number or Customer number
6. Enter the amount you want to pay
7. Select the linked bank account to service the payment
8. Enter the PIN number of the bank account selected
9. Click on Pay to process payment

USING THE MOBILE USSD CODE TO PAY FOR DSTV PACKAGES
- Dial *224#
- Enter in your mobile banking PIN
- Select 5) Bank services
- Select 2) Pay bills
- Select 2) Make a one-time payment
- Select your biller (you may need to enter ## to see more billers)
- Enter in your smart card number
- Enter in the amount to pay
- Select the account to pay for
- Press 1 to confirm
